Mentor-Mentee Program

At SGIS Pune, we believe that students thrive when guided by meaningful relationships and real-world experiences. Our Mentor-Mentee Program is designed to create these bonds by pairing small groups of 3 to 4 students with a dedicated faculty mentor who serves as their guide, advisor, and motivator.

Every Saturday, for one engaging hour, mentors and mentees meet to share conversations, reflect on personal and academic growth, and plan actionable goals. These sessions are not limited to classroom discussions – they extend into life beyond school.

Mentor groups also venture out for outings, community service projects, and experiential learning activities, ensuring students gain valuable life lessons in leadership, empathy, and social responsibility. Whether it’s organizing a cleanliness drive, volunteering at a local NGO, or simply enjoying an outdoor learning trip, these experiences strengthen the mentor-mentee bond and broaden students’ perspectives.

Through this program, students:

Build self-confidence and emotional resilience.

Engage in collaborative problem-solving and critical thinking.

Learn the value of giving back through hands-on social initiatives.

Develop life skills, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of purpose.

At SGIS, mentorship is more than guidance – it’s a transformational journey of connection, care, and community impact.
